On-premise solution

In this delivery model, ATM system services are installed in dedicated hardware resources located on-premise and held by the client. This solution can be adapted to provide standalone architectures or can be combined with cloud solutions as local contingency systems.

Hybrid cloud solution

This approach provides an optimized solution where the most critical services, such as the live operational ATM system, are allocated to a private cloud, while the simulation, training and testing of the ATM systems are allocated to a public cloud with an associated cost per use and no maintenance costs.

Private cloud solution

This solution provides clients with all the ATM system services (Live Operational, Simulation and Testing) in a centralized and geo-redundant datacenter located within a Private Cloud managed by the client. This solution is mainly designed for the Live Operational ATM System.

Resilient networks of ATM centers

Achieving high service availability figures, as close to 100% as possible, has been at the heart of the design of modern ATM systems for decades, as the air traffic management network is considered a national critical infrastructure throughout Europe and the rest of the world.

Indra Air solutions are designed to provide the highest resilience to the network of centers where they operate, implementing the virtual center concept defined by SESAR.

Technologies such as virtualization and WAN remote displays, together with the improved speed and reliability of digital communications, make it possible to fully decouple the processing servers from the operations rooms, which enables ANSPs to adapt the capacity to the demand in a much more dynamic manner. This, in turn, achieves further value out of infrastructure investments.

The interconnectivity of the ATM network of centers offers significant opportunities for real improvement of "network resilience". ANSPs could even provide air navigation data services to their neighbors in case of disruption, or even temporarily take over part of the control of their airspace until the situation returns to normal.
